AUX MANIR One man Art Group from Serbia

In 2002 Aux MANIR promoted new art brand Trash Brand represented graphically by Aux MANIR Trash Brand Logo. Aux MANIR produce and exhibits in the leading artist's house and garden. Aux MANIR Studio and Plain Air Gallery are places that makes a unit named AUX MANIR Art Group Campus. Aux MANIR is also presented on the Internet Cyber space.

Short Bio _________________________________________

AUX MANIR Slobodan Šajin is contemporary Art Group from Serbia. Established in 1982. by Slobodan Šajin(1952) and Momčilo Rajin (1954) with a name Aux Maniere.

In the early beginnigs of art activity (1975.), both of artists participated in Serbian conceptual art group - Group 143 (Biljana Tomić, Miško Šuvakovic...). Slobodan Šajin also participated in AUTOPSIA , experimental music group, with R.Milinković and S.Vukelić (1980).
In the early 80's (1980.-1982.) Slobodan Šajin worked on silk-screen printings and developed an unique art graphic (print) monotype technique called "REPRINT" (REcycle PRINT). That technique became the base of the artworks which Aux Maniere made in the next several years.
After Momčilo Rajin decided to leave (1986.) and devote himself to writing, his primary occupation (today he is an eminent serbian rock critic and publisher - Džuboks- Ritam, editor, journalist and rock critic; he is also one of the leading designers of books and magazines),
Aux Maniere became One man group - Slobodan Šajin.
Since 1986. till 1990. Aux Maniere produced a few collections of geometric paintings. This paintings don't precede to samples from the reality, but are fragments of visual identity of The Real - that already became the medium reflection.It's all about object of the simulation,and a simulation of the object.The origin of geometry iconography doesn't share anything with tradition of geometry paintings.That iconography is presented as an evidence of choice and decision, and as possibility to be reviewed in the Image.
!991. Civil War in the former Yougoslavia. Slobodan Šajin was engaged in commercial arts. Also was in the business world, accompanied to the close friends Dr.Dušan Sakulski, scientist and Slobodan Maldini, architect and writer.
After fall of Milosevic's regime in Serbia (2002.) Slobodan Šajin started in again with fine arts making. In 2002. he promoted a new art brand, Trash Brand AUX MANIR, which became a new name of the Art Group instead of the old one.
A designation TRASH of new Aux Manir works doesn't mean that art product is created of refuse. Intention is not to make art works that are trash.
The point of view is problematique elaborated in thinking, rational acts in the field of the morphology of the art work.To rummage through the trash on the garbage dump is perceptive activity in the quest of diversity. According to the fact that trash items are completely different, the logic of structure allows the existance of any particular problem. By displacement the field of sample,results with art product as the reconstruction of the problem that demonstrates its functioning through the perceptive activity.
In the past five years Slobodan Šajin exhibited in his house garden. Plain Air Gallery and Aux Manir Studio both, became place named AUX MANIR Art Group Campus.Today, Aux Manir is also present on many Internet online Gallerys.
